The Holy Spirit is someone who we are to become best friends with. Through flowing with Him transformation is released and hearts are led to an intimate relationship with the Father. This week awakened on the inside of me a new desire to walk alongside the Holy Spirit. I was hungry to know what walking in partnership with Him truly meant and I begun to ask myself, what does it mean to live in unity with Holy Spirit? How can I be one with Him in all that I do? This week launched me on a journey of partnership and began the friendship I had always desired to share with Him.
"To live in partnership with Holy firstly begins with aboundmonship through following the lead of His voice."
An increased desire within me and a new willingness became evident that I had not experience before. I was willing to be led by Holy Spirit who therefore revealed to me Jesus and how He lived while being here on earth. He was man who walked in unity, and was dependent on Holy Spirit. Jesus would willingly follow the leading of Holy Spirit as He was moved by the gentle whisper of His voice. Just as Jesus lived in partnership with Jesus, Holy spirit tugged on my heart the importance to do the same. It is through Holy Spirit that the dead are raised and the sick are healed. I found myself continually repeating within my heart, Holy Spirit I desire to walk with You in all that I do. An increasing desire to solely follow what Holy Spirit is speaking within every situation and even minute of my day was awakened in me. To live in partnership with Holy firstly begins with aboundmonship through following the lead of His voice.
"We have freely been given the fullness of Holy Spirit on the inside of each of us through the grace of our Father."
Gordon Harris was teaching the lessons throughout the week and I recall a specific verse which he mentioned that stood out to me in a new way. I had heard the verse and even read it plenty of times yet, I finally became aware of the truth it truly held. I therefore took the truth and I wrote it on my heart, to grow in understanding and walk in the reality of His word. Galatians 5:22-23 mentions the fruit of the spirit, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (NIV). We have freely been given the fullness of Holy Spirit on the inside of each of us through the grace of our Father. Therefore, we have within us each of the fruit which we can daily demonstrate and reflect.
"Students begun to abruptly laugh with an unexplainable joy, some had even cried as a release of healing occurred."
The week consisted of the flowing with the spirit as the title of the week indicated. Students were encouraged to ask Holy Spirit each night what He had wanted to do for the next day. There was a freedom and an overwhelming release of joy which He continually released throughout the lessons. Students begun to abruptly laugh with an unexplainable joy, some had even cried as a release of healing occurred. There was unexpected excitement which continually lingered throughout the room and my heart was drawn to discover more. Just as I was encouraged to walk in partnership with Holy Spirit, why not ask Holy Spirit to breath into your life this week a new awakening to live in unity.
